They struggle for survival with hunger and diseases.

At present 115 women aged 60 to 85+ years are registered at two ADHAR centres in a remote villages of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh States. Most of them are very weak and cannot walk properly, but they come to the centers every day as for many it is the only meal they get.

Nava Kanthi also runs two more centers in Andhra Pradesh state where 50+ aged and disabled women are given monthly pensions.

ADHAR means Respect/Honor.
